Scotty & Nash Final nite in Capetown.

Believe it or not,the journey 4 Scotty Nash is going 2/B “OVER”. This is a shot of the dynamic duo enjoying a party on their last nite in Cape Town,  Webb and Ronni  had arranged a Bon Voyage nite at the “Ex Pat’s” watering hole, they had a helluva turnout, most of them were regular’s  admittedly, but  Scotty felt that the energy that came from the irregular’s was the highlite,….their passion was on their sleeves, and their longing was true blue, it wassa nite of “Flower of SCOTLAND”  “Bonnie Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomand” “Northern lights of ABERDEEN”  “Amazing GRACE”  Needless 2 say the Boy’s had 2 dress in their native regalia, and it became a game with the ladies in the crowd 2 see who could get a shot of the under the kilt rule,  this is a shot of Scotty trying 2 put his putter in his knapsack, and in the moment of repose Nash flipped him off, So! That the ladies could unlock the miss-terry, yuk,yuk, due 2 government restrictions, and I might add good tastes, this is a shot of frame 12 just .005 second after  the flip, so ass not 2 infringe yuk,yuk,  Anyhoooooooo!  The ladies seemed 2/B contented, and harassed the Boy’s 4 the rest of the Knight,  it wassa long nite, and in the moments of  R&R and privacy in the loo Scotty was enjoying that peaceful  engagement, WHEN! Outta the blue FRIGGINELL!!!!!!!! This dude in the next booth let off a rip of  UGOTIT~ “Flower of Scotland”  SHIT! It nearly killed poor Scotty, it took him a wee time 2 gather his wit’s   and after he was back on the seat again, he joined his Ex Pat  neighbour in a rendition of…….FOS!   it just goes 2 show that even in our time of need, one can always’s express your passion in song,  we Scot’s have that auto mode built in 2 our genetic’s, yuk,yuk, and my Celtic  companion Robbie in the next booth wassa  tenorELEVEN on the scale Bro!   by the end of the nite our hero’s had ran the gamit of music, environment,politic’s,moviedom,comedy,travel, weather, and on and on, and of coarse the World Cup, and,and “WHY!” SCOTLAND cant get 2 the “BIGshow”  and the consensus from the contented crowd was that the World Cup should go 2 beauty of South Afica and it’s people “THANK YOU” 4 THE SHOW!  U R the WINNER!  And we will come back, by nites end 90% of the crowd were………UGOTIT!    “H-O-A-R-S-E”  but happy(hic!).  Of coarse the nite could not end without a rendition of “Amazing Grace”.  Scotty spent the rest of the nite with Sami (the Babe on the right in frame12, Nash had linked up with Cass second left frame 12, they linked up with Webby and Ronni 4 a knight-cap, Whatta friggin nite, the Boy’s were grateful  2  the two of them 4 going the distance, and more 2 make the last nite memorable,….and it was!   It’s such a pity that Scotty; Nash have one big disappointment,………………and that is that they met Cass and Sami on their second last day in South Africa, FAQ?,  the girl’s R planning 2 visit the boy’s in Scotland, SO!  U never know, maybe a Scottish Safari (hmmmm), stay tuned.

• PS.  After a good nites sleep (wink,wink,) they will  fly back 2 Scotland in the morning, they got a big  Surprise when they were informed by one of their sponsors Mercedes that they will ship the car  Back 2 Scotland, and provide another for the second party. way 2 go Big'M', one thing this trip has       accomplished is that in the next part of their lives, they will have 2 think "SMART".

• PPS.    Lifes a Gig waiting 2  happen, just make it "HAPPEN" is Scotty's fave line, and hopefully with some luck he will find a Gig in the future 2 stick his snubnose in 2 and with his new found SmartMODE

Bootyful South Africa Whatta friggen GIG!

The shot looking from Robben Island has 2 B seen, itsa top drawer in the memory bank Bro!  can U imagine that people actually live here, Man!.whatta friggin Gig, just think of it, There R no Losers here.  One thing that the gang had decided was 2 wear the Scotland top's till Scotty and Nash left 2 go back 2 Scotland in a few day's, and our 2 hero's were grabbing the opportunity 2 take shot's, and just like an old Scottish favorite Scotty & Nash "Will Come Back to see Ya"  that's a given, South Africa has a beautiful companion  Mother Nature"  she is the purvayor of beauty and wonderment, and the boy's R in agreement that she is the real World Champion.

Scotty & Nash Robben Island Pilgrimage

Believe it or not the boy's R still in Cape Town, after the hype from the World Cup, it was a Big Downer Bro! Scotty & Nash had 2 do some relaxing, Now was the time 2 get out and about and visit the sites. What Alcatraz was 2 San Francisco,  Robben island was 2 Cape Town, within site of a major metropolis,  Alcatraz became the residence 4 some of the most dangerous criminal's in American history, such as Al Capone, Willie Sutton and the likes, Robben Island had a transition from a seal colony 2 a leper colony 2 a Prison 4 political dissident's, and in this era Robben Island had it's anointment with destiny, 4 seventeen years it was the home 4  one of the greatest freedom fighters of history, Nelson Mandella as a young lawyer became the face of ant-apartheid in South Africa, he spent 28 years in prison fighting 4 the rights of his people, the political change in South Africa eventually enabled him to be released in the nineties, his face and name have become the icon 4 "FREEDOM" around the world, and Robben Island has become a World Historical site, that brings tourists from all over the world 2 pay homage 2 this very special man, this is a shot of our 2 hero's fulfilling that need, this is South Africa's "WALLACE"  and Scots have an affiliation with feedom fighters, and being able 2 see a World class city like Cape Town, and hop on a ferry and pay homage 2 the cause, Scotty &Nash feel privilaged,

World Cup Scotty& Nash dream

Down at the watering hole the patron’s had a post World Cup SHIN-DIG!....it wassa  time 4 passion 2 rear its ugly head Bro!,  soccer is a funny game U can start up with a reserved conservative layback atti-dude!  THEN! B it offside’s, fouls, penalty’s, did the ball cross the line, poor shooting, no shooting, 2 defensive, lack of skill’s, lack of pace, lack of confidence, lack of this, lack of that, friggin what ever!  It is the script 4 difference of opinions, and we all know where that can take U “KAAAABOOOOM” it was great in a way, our 2 hero’s  were the sympathy vote in all the the conflicts, the combatant’s would look up and see Scotty or Nash in front of them………………………..and Chill! NO!  They weren’t  bouncers, the logic went like this Bro!,  if 2 Scot’s can travel all the way from Europe 2 South Africa and partake in the World CUP and their team was not in the freakin  tournament,  Man!  That wassa beacon of hope 4 the also ran’s,  here wassa wee piece of granite in the North sea, who hadn’t been 2 the “BigSHOW” 4  a long, long time, and their fans still have the passion 4 the bootyful  game, most of the combatant’s would respond 2 Scotty or Nash that the World Cup itself misses the passion of the “TartanARMY” and would love 2 see us back in the Show, and U could see the anger and frustration dissipate from their faces, the dynamic duo were happy all nite playing the referee, and selling the world of “Hope”.

PS.   The dynamic duo are in a state of uphoria, THEY can now see the "TartanARMY" in all it's splendour
         at the WorldCUP AGAIN!......sure we'll have 2 live in dreamland 4 a while Bro!  but Spain gave us 
         hope.

There on top of "Tabletop" mountain in Cape Town, our 2 hero's found the stage 2 make their grand entrance into the "Bi9SHOW", with the beautiful city laid out below them the duo in all their Scottish regalia hung a sign 2 let the people know,... that indeed the "TartanARMY" was here, and with the accompaniment of the pipes Nash was going 2 sing a rendition of "Flower of Scotland" that was appropriate 4 South AFRICA sob!.......Anyhooooooooo! the local news helicopter was able 2 broadcast their performance, Scotty and Nash were thinking that Webby and Ronni had set them up hmmmmmmm?, Oh well if they did.... there goes the annonimity that they had planned on, just maybe the dynamic duo would B able 2 wear their Scottish regalia throughout the whole World Cup, YO! and hopefully get some points of view from the fans as 2 Why Scotland is falling behind the rest of the world, FAQ?......WE NEED HELP!.

Scotty&NASH meet up with Webb&Ronni

This wassa helluva eye opener 4 the duo, they could not believe the amount of people that were let down because Scotland did not Qualify FAQ?.....the world must B full of prodigal Son's and daughters Bro!, this shot was taken on Cape Town beach, this was the TartanARMY'S South African representative Webb Mcguire (Nash's cousin) and his fiancee Ronni, Webb was an engineer who moved 2 Cape Town 4 years ago, and was working on a Big project
that would keep him here for 2 more years, and the possibility was that Webb and Ronni could possibly settle down here, it certainly beats the rain of back in Aberdeen ugh?, the next move 4 our intrepid travelers is 2 perform something that has never been done by a member of the "TartanARMY" SO! stay tuned their getting their prop's ready?.

Yahoooooooooooo! they made it, believe it or not, the dynamic duo have just passed the sign 2 Cape Town, and now it's time 2 hook up with Nash's cousin Webb and his fiancee Ronni, they R graciously going 2 put up with the 2 hero's 4 the World Cup, SHOOT! there is no way that ScottyBro or Nash would have been able 2 fork out the coin 4 the "BigSHOW", Man! U would need a friggin unbalanced,...."Balance Book " Bro?, Anyhooo!
this is a shot of Scotty and Nash heading 2 a Welcome Party at the Beach, they have a hot air baloon in the shape of the World Cup, and a bi-plane pulling a sign Welcoming the tourists from all over the World, Nash was saying that when this tournament was over,....that a helluva lot of Hot AIR is going 2 B dispenced on the airway's of South Africa, yuk,yuk, our hero's cant wait 2 plunk their sore asses on the Rumper Room sands of Cape Town Beach,....Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!! that's better, and,and, and look at those booooootyful Bod's, they look like they were Not Freakin REAL!....Well it could B the fact that Scotty and Nash had boogied their way from Port Elizabeth,...and they were a weee buggered, they needed some "R&R" SO! they told Webby on the phone that they would meet him at the beach, relax a wee bit, then head into town 2 his place, nudge,nudge, wink,wink, When did U a Scotsman! miss out on food, drinks, company,singing, and Joshing!

YEH! our 2 hero's R back on the road again, all sore backs and all, ahem! this is a shot of Nash stretching his back and saluting his blue collar prodical son's in East London, "Way 2 go HAMMERS" way 2 GO!... Scotty was all stocked 4 the run into Cape Town, they were going 2 have a Quickeeeeee in East London, Then! boot it over 2 Port Elizabeth 4 a couple of day's, surely Scotty was thinking that they couldn't get into any trouble in either location huh?, THINK AGAIN! a few kilometers down the hiway they were pulled over by the police,.....as the officer approached the Limo he looked like a real angry piece of work, Scotty and Nash were trying 2 figure out what they might have done, just maybe the local police R Looking 4 funds 4 their soccer team, the officer approached the car and demanded Scotty and Nash's driving licenses, GOD! he's sharp, he assumed that both were driving the Limo, and he needed 2 see BOTH! after a few minutes of scrutinizing the officer asked where we came from and where we were going, SHIT! the friggin biggest thing since Nelson Mandela was released, is coming 2 SouthAfrica, the World Cup will bring the world 2 their shores, your going 2 make a killing at the marketing end, So! lighten up at the security side,
after a few more minutes of enlightenment the officer went back 2 his car , grabbed an article, walked back and handed Scotty his license plate, apparently our hero's had taken the plate off At Durban Beach, where they put the South Africa sign on the rear bumper, Nash had put the license plate down under the car, Scotty had told him 2 hurry up, we gotta get ready 4 the restaurant BABES! OH YEH!.....our hero's replied, SHIT! the story goes that a bystander had seen them taking the plate off, and handed it 2 a police cruiser at the beach, the bystander told them the make of the car, and the ID of the occupants, and that they were going 2 East London on Friday, the officer by sheer coincidence had 2 pick up an individual at East London SO! with a wee bit of luck he might B able 2 hook up with them, and believe it or not, that's exactly how it panned out,
Man! WE were lucky, it was illegal to drive without the plate, and thye police officer replied No! we don't need funds 4 the soccer team ,and we will B vigilant 4 the "BigSHOW" SO! just maybe we will cross path's AGAIN!, as the officer walked away he looked back , gave them a salute and a smile and replied....have a nice day! and "World Cup", FAQ? Scotty and Nash gave outta sigh of relief, it could have been worse, Hey! let's put on that friggin plate again, Bro!.
