World Cup Cape Town Party ! Scottish nite at the Watering Hole

We'll it's over!....and whatta freakin show, and it was the winner's first time,....SHOOT! there is hope 4 Scotland Bro!.  Scotty & Nash have had a Blast! their going 2  take some time now 2 see a wee bit of the Cape Provence, now they can venture out and about and see the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Aguliar and Robben Island,  before heading back 2 Scotland.  Down at the watering hole the patron’s had a very special nite, they had a frugal budget  SO! They decided 2 have a “Scottish Nite” and in the midst of all the fervour of drinking, singing, joking, and gambling they had a piper, who jacked up the croud  every time there was a lull, it was a nite of “Flower of Scotland” Heeeland “FLING’S” toasting “S-P-A-I-N”

and reminiscing on the World Cup, Scotty & Nash were thinking that this is the environment that the “TartanARMY” Should B part of, Scotty has a lot of tapes, video’s, Emails, 2 review when he gets back home, he has rummaged with the idea of putting it 2  book format, and passing the info on 2 the backbone of our depression…….. the ( SFA)  WELL! That is another story Bro!.

World Cup Scotty& Nash dream

Down at the watering hole the patron’s had a post World Cup SHIN-DIG!....it wassa  time 4 passion 2 rear its ugly head Bro!,  soccer is a funny game U can start up with a reserved conservative layback atti-dude!  THEN! B it offside’s, fouls, penalty’s, did the ball cross the line, poor shooting, no shooting, 2 defensive, lack of skill’s, lack of pace, lack of confidence, lack of this, lack of that, friggin what ever!  It is the script 4 difference of opinions, and we all know where that can take U “KAAAABOOOOM” it was great in a way, our 2 hero’s  were the sympathy vote in all the the conflicts, the combatant’s would look up and see Scotty or Nash in front of them………………………..and Chill! NO!  They weren’t  bouncers, the logic went like this Bro!,  if 2 Scot’s can travel all the way from Europe 2 South Africa and partake in the World CUP and their team was not in the freakin  tournament,  Man!  That wassa beacon of hope 4 the also ran’s,  here wassa wee piece of granite in the North sea, who hadn’t been 2 the “BigSHOW” 4  a long, long time, and their fans still have the passion 4 the bootyful  game, most of the combatant’s would respond 2 Scotty or Nash that the World Cup itself misses the passion of the “TartanARMY” and would love 2 see us back in the Show, and U could see the anger and frustration dissipate from their faces, the dynamic duo were happy all nite playing the referee, and selling the world of “Hope”.

PS.   The dynamic duo are in a state of uphoria, THEY can now see the "TartanARMY" in all it's splendour
         at the WorldCUP AGAIN!......sure we'll have 2 live in dreamland 4 a while Bro!  but Spain gave us 
         hope.

The fitba affishionado's R in seventh heaven, we have 2 great team's fighting 4 the "Big Prize", Holland v Spain, what else could U ask 4,....Scotty & Nash thought shuddawuddacudda that Scotland v Holland or Scotland v Spain would have been the perfect Final, YO!  mind U if Scotland had played Spain we would never have seen,.....or touched the friggin ball sigh?,  Spain has 2 B the favorites, their not in sync up front yet, Torres is off color, they need 2 get more from their forwards, What! with the engine they have (Xavi, & Iniesto)  the 2 best in the world, their like Spains patron saint of the Artists (Picasso) with an empty canvas and lots of paint, Very Scary Bro!.  Anyhooooooo! this is a shot of our hero's back on the top of Table Mountain, they had taken a pair of binoculars so they could get a better view of all the beauty that is 360*, their intention's was 2 take the time 2 really enjoy the "Table" thank god there's no tablecloth (cloud's) at the moment, AAAHHHHHH! Can U freakin believe it,......Argentina, Brazil, Italy ,France,Ivory Coast, and,and England have packed 4 home, Scotty can't believe it he's watching Brazil getting onto their bus 4 the airport, Nash was saying that there's going 2 B a lot of coaches looking 4 work after this Show just maybe the game of soccer is changing, maybe Scotland can get some of the friggin "BLING"  SHIT! we need "SOMETHING" Anything 2 get the "TartanARMY" back on the terraces of the WorldCUP AGAIN!....I can tellya there was a lot of empty seats that we could have graced with our brand of passion BRO!....Let's get our train back on the track's, and hopefully get 2 Brasil 4 the next one,  This is a shot of the board of director's of the SRB (the Scottish Review Board) Scotty, Webby.Ronni, and  Nash at the ExPAT'S watering hole picking the Semi Final winners, bare in mind that all of their picks R back in the land of Nod, Somewhere licking their wounds and having an "INQUISITION" I tellya theres going 2B a helluva lot of that in the coming months, yuk,yuk,  Webber can't believe that Argentina gave up without a fight, Germany has been spectacular, but he expected the South American magic 2 take them through, this German team has all the components 2 win the "BIGshow"  Everybody agreed, they were the one's 2 lose it, a sub par show and U never know, SO! after reviewing the teams our board of directors had a draw, Scotty was first,... he.couldn't see by GERMANY, then it was Webby,.....and his choice was HOLLAND,  Ronni picked SPAIN, and poor old Nash was left with his favorite URUGUAY, he just loves "UNDERDOGS" SO! it fitted him 2 a "T". Germany is the biggest surprise of the World Cup, everybody was saying that they were 2 young, and 2 inexperienced 2 win it, it's amazing how 3 week's can change your mind, whatever program their on should be installed in the Premier League, don't U think ugh?.

World Cup BRASIL OUT

After watching his favorite team Brasil  getting beat in the Quarters Scotty just had 2 get friggin outta the Pub, and get some fresh air,...it's amazing how Cape Town can entrap U, (Thank God!)  with all that beauty, it just shakes U out of your doldrum's, 
gloom and doom get kicked 2 the curb in this jewel
on the 2 Ocean's, the Rainbow Nation has a diamond here and our hero's have already agreed that they will come back after the World Cup is over,and really get 2 know it, Shit! said Nash!...we'll have 2 win the freakin Pool's, this is a shot of Nash trying 2 get Scotty,the car, Table Mountain, the plane pulling the sign, (Which! by the way our 2 hero's found out later,  wassa set up by Webb & Ronni) this is without a doubt thee iconic landmark of Cape Town, 2 most people U don't have 2 say the name, it speaks 4 itself, just like the Eiffel Tower in Paris,the Pyramids at Cairo, the Sydney Opera House, Big Ben in London, etc,etc, this was a friggin great escape from the blues, tomorrow there going back down 2 the the Watering hole with a group of Webb & Ronni's friends 2 watchy the game between Argentina v Germany, Scotty was thinking that this should have been the "World Cup" sob! FAQ? now that the favorite Brasilian team is out, I guess they will have 2 B like Scotland after all,....time 4 an Inquisition Bro!  me thinks yuk,yuk,.

World Cup England Going HOME!

This was the ExPAT'S putting on a Party 4 the English fan's, it was hopefully going 2 B a winning Party,...and the least said the better, and the consensus among the patron's, was that they didn't deserve 2 win it anyhow, there sub-par performance throughout the tournament was not acceptable, we the fans have been waiting 4 one of our teams from the wee island in the North Sea 2 do them proud, and it looks like were going backwards, we need an Inquisition into the whole debacle, we need 2 put more emphasis on our own players, and those managers that come 2 the BigSHOW 2 scout out the talent from abroad, R just putting another nail in our Coffin, we've had the premier League now 4 twenty odd years, our home brew's R a dying species, the comments of getting back 2 the Academy's, is like the one about the horse and the gate, 2 friggin late Bro!  NOW! were getting into crisis mode AGAIN!......Wasn't the Premier League supposed 2 lift up our own talent pool, and hopefully at the end of the Rainbow, a British team could win the "WorldCUP" huh?.....seem's 2 me like were further from that objective than we have Ever been.

Nasher's traffic lite changed 2 bright Red, AH! that's better, now comes the friggin French, Anyhooooooooo!...back 2 the business at hand, Syd was saying that the gang back home were all lit up with the "BigSHOW" and they respected us 4 representing them in South Africa, a few of them had called us idiot's,...and nut's 2 waste our time on something so trivial, BUT!...after seeing us with our Colors on, they were very proud, they felt the passion, Scotty & Nash said it envelopes U and U feel like singing "Flower of Scotland" all day, and that's why Nash is not on the phone, he's kinda hoarse from last nites activity's, and that is the World Cup, it's an Activity hub 4 everything, and with the backdrop of the Zuvuzelas its "CRAZY"......Oh! and by the way Congrat's 2 England 4 getting through 2 the Knock-out round, the last sixteen is where the real games begin, they have not played well, so that just might B an omen, Germany's going 2 B tough, but we have a good record against them SO! take it 2 them, it's a new day.
And would U believe it Ghana takes out the USA "AGAIN" same score same round (I Think!), and how about that talented Uruguay team, SHIT! I would hate 2 B gambling man, there so much Quality that any team on a given day could get the result, so that's Ghana & Uruguay in the "Quarters" today we have 2 great games England v Germany, Argentina v Mexico WOW! Whatta day it's going 2 B down at the old "Watering Hole" yuk,yuk, (hic!hic!) the exPat's R holding a "BigPARTY" Today, SO! I think that theres going 2 B two hoarse Scotchmen in the croud 2NITE!
